Forget Me Not

Submission for a brief where the outcome asked for a board game as a deliverable. I used this project as an opportunity to explore packaging design.

My intention with this game was to create something that bonds people through the reminiscence of shared memories. I started by brainstorming symbols of love, both from a universal and personal perspective.

This submission asked of me to explore an analogue medium I was unfamiliar with, in order to achieve an organic, human look that. My strengths in digital illustration and editing then came in to refine the illustrations into more refined and commercial game pieces.

Final deliverables include the game’s packaging (a laser-cut, plywood box), an instructions leaflet and the memory game pieces - some of which are blank to be filled in by the user.
